Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Most schools or districts will accept your Integrate course participation for Continuing Education Units or Professional Development Credits. Since policies for awarding units and credits vary from state to state and even within states please check directly with your school or district to determine the criteria you must meet. Teacher Universe will provide you with the following four resources to help you apply for Continuing Education Units or Professional Development Credits:
Participation certificates. All teachers who enroll in one of Teacher Universe's Integrate courses receive an official participation certificate documenting their hours of course attendance (or, if an on-line course, their hours of on-line work).
Completion certificates. All teachers who submit a passing Integrate Project (lesson plan and sample activities) as part of their Integrate course receive up to 10 additional completion hours. An official completion certificate documenting these hours is mailed to each candidate.
